Playing The Piano

The teachers at Bill Doherty Studios.com teach the Russian Method of piano technique.  This method is characterized by high finger and loose wrist attack.  This method was made famous by the great pianist Vladimir Horowitz because it lends itself well to producing expressive melodic lines and very precise and clean fast, florid passages.  Today, these principals are used by professional pianists of all kinds - from classical to jazz.....and can be successfully applied to virtually every style of music.
