Fees:
$ 140 per month for a weekly half hour lesson
$ 280 per month for a weekly hour lesson


Payment:
Payment for lessons is by cash/check, visa or mastercard credit cards and/or debit cards.  Checks should be made out to the International Opera Center of America (IOCA).  Payments are made monthly and due by the 1st of the month for that month’s lessons. There is a $20.00 fee for NSF returned checks. Multiple NSF checks result in the refusal to accept checks for payment. 

Late Fee:
There is a late fee of $5 per day for charges declined by the credit card company/bank and for those who are late paying by cash/check.

Refunds:
There are NO REFUNDS for missed lessons.

Promptness:
Lessons last approximately 50 minutes to an hour.  Mr. Doherty reserves the right to lengthen or reduce the duration of a lesson as he feels is appropriate.  If the student arrives more than 10 minutes late, the lesson is a forfeit.

Other:
Each student is responsible for purchasing his or her own sheet music.  Mr. Doherty does not supply sheet music to his students.  Each student should also bring a blank CD or a digital voice recorder to record each lesson.

Cancellations:
Mr. Doherty reserves the right to cancel lessons due to performances, rehearsal conflicts, meetings, illness, etc. In this event, Bill Doherty Studios will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the lesson to a mutually convenient time.  It is the student’s responsibility to follow-up to ensure that any canceled lessons are rescheduled.  Lessons cancelled or missed by the student are forfeited.  There are NO REFUNDS for lessons cancelled by the student.

Holidays:
Bill Doherty Studios and the International Opera Center of America follow the Public School Holiday Calendar and are CLOSED on all National Holidays.  There are NO REFUNDS for lessons which fall on holidays.
